Good Product Mar 15, 2009

I had about 6 pairs of sunglasses that were all missing screws. I was looking for another pair when I decided to just FIX the ones I have. I was really surprised that this product was even available. I received the package within a few days and it worked well for me. I'd bought about 4 different screw repair kits before this product and none of them had screws big enough to fit my sunglasses. The product provided screws big enough for my glasses. The only disadvantage is that there is nothing to pick up the screws with...which makes it difficult to put them into the holes on the glasses.

I ordered this repair kit as I keep losing the little platic nose things on my glasses and do not want to take them to an actual shop to be repaired. This kit is wonderful.

Just what I needed Apr 01, 2009

Those little bitty eyeglass screw kits from the big box store have left me with a dearth of minute screwdrivers and mini-magnifiers. Now I have a collection of screws, in sufficient numbers and sizes to keep fixing grandkids' eyeglasses for some time to come.

acceptable for the price Dec 07, 2010

There was a little rust on the screwdriver key-chain ring, But it didn't really bother me since the screws were OK. There were many different diameters of screws, but they all were longer than what I needed. It still worked for my glasses, but the screw sticks out a mm. It would have been nice if they had some shorter screws. Also, the case isn't snug enough to keep the little screws in their individual compartments. I would have been fine with a ziplock bag full of screws. Still, it got the job done, and for one dollar plus 7 for shipping, that's a pretty good deal.

yes, rust, but satisfied anyway. Aug 17, 2010
By Darren the Bruin Confirming what a previous reviewer mentioned, yes, there was some rust in the box. I don't think it was used, I get the sense it's just been around a while and the keychain started rusting. Also the case was cracked. Still, it was 88 cents (+5.99 shipping), it arrived quickly, and most importantly it had all the hardware I needed to fix my glasses, and that's ultimately what matters. No rust on the important stuff: the screws, nuts, and screwdriver. If you want your glasses fixed and you're not a perfectionist about the packaging, this will serve your needs just fine!
